Model CU Elevators are sized based on volumetric capacity and other product characteristics, such as particle size and cohesiveness. There are 5 sizes of elevators available ranging from 4” x 8” to 12” x 30”. Horizontal travel distances and vertical height are determined by the customer and are made to order. The Model CU is unique as it is shaped similar to the letter “U”. The buckets travel in an opposite direction than the Model C. The Model CU Elevator is only available in a singular discharge design, but as with the other configurations, is not limited to the amount of infeed areas that can be incorporated within its design.
