Model CB elevators are sized based on volumetric capacity and other product characteristics, such as particle size and cohesiveness. There are 5 sizes of elevators available ranging from 4” x 8” to 12” x 30”. Horizontal travel distances and vertical height are determined by the customer and made to order. Optimal bucket fill is under 60% capacity. The Model CB has the same characteristics as the Model CBT, except the infeed is from the side instead of from the top. Model CB’s can be single or multiple discharge designs. Washdown versions of the Model CB are available. There are a variety of ways to feed Model CB elevators.
